About Canopy Consulting
Gal Potashnick
founder, thought partner.
Gal is a strategic thinker and traditional-systems skeptic, a connector of people and networks, and an advocate for social and economic justice.
Gal found her way to community and organizational development through intentional and deliberate action. Her perspective is built from her hands-on experience working in and with nonprofits and businesses, as well as in communities across Northern New England. She relies on decades of on-the-ground participation across sectors.
She works with nontraditional allies and those in positions of power to affect long-term change by identifying and correcting broken systems through observation and planning. Gal’s passion is empowering nonprofits, businesses, and communities to find solutions and reconnection in the midst of broken trust and historical disenfranchisement.
Gal has a passion for creating opportunities of open and non-judgemental communication that lead to learning + growth.
